One (1) Full Time Psychometrist
Competition 24-47 – Full Time Psychometrist – Kirkland Lake
The Cochrane Temiskaming Resource Centre (CTRC) is seeking a Psychometrist to join its team in Kirkland Lake. CTRC is a regional Developmental Services provider offering programs across the Districts of Temiskaming and Cochrane including coastal communities along James and Hudson Bay.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team offering supports to individuals with Developmental Disabilities. The main responsibilities of the Psychometrist include performing psychometric testing, behavioural assessments as well as implementing developmental and behavioural intervention strategies and plans under the direction of the Supervisor of Psychological Services.
Psychometrist MA Level: Wages $32.97 – $36.14/hour
Psychometrist BA Honours: Wages $31.22 – $33.96/hour
Hours of Work: 75 hours/2 weeks
The successful candidate for M.A. level Psychometrist must have a Master’s Degree in Psychology and be registered as a Certified Psychological Associate with the College of Psychologists of Ontario, or be a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA/BCaBA). Graduate level Certificate or a B.A. Honors Level in Psychology may be considered. Specific background courses in psychometric testing and behaviour modification is preferred as well as having worked with individuals with a developmental disability. Ability to operate a computer and various software programs is essential. Other requirements include the ability to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team, valid class G driver’s license and use of a vehicle. Bilingualism in both French and English would be an asset and may be considered a requirement depending on the area where the vacancy exists. Double vaccination against Covid-19 is mandatory.
