ANNOUNCES A VACANCY FOR:

Full Time Behaviour Therapist (Timmins)

The Cochrane Temiskaming Resource Centre (CTRC) is seeking a Behaviour Therapist to join its team in Timmins. CTRC is a regional Developmental Services provider offering programs across the Districts of Temiskaming and Cochrane including coastal communities along James and Hudson Bay.

The successful candidate will work within a multidisciplinary team, providing behaviour assessment and intervention services to individuals with developmental disabilities as well as support to their families and other agencies and groups that serve them.

Permanent Full-Time employees are offered a defined pension plan with the Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP) and are enrolled from hire date. Extended Health Benefits (100% of drug costs up to $50,000) Life insurance, Dental ($1,000/yr.), Vision ($300/24 months), Para-Medical Coverage (up to $500 per year). Flexible work schedules are offered and vacation is as per the Collective Agreement provisions.

QUALIFICATIONS:                                  

An Honours Degree or a B.A. in Psychology. A minimum of two years’ experience working with individuals who have a developmental disability and behavioural problems/disorders; good written and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team. Ability to operate a computer and various software. A valid G driver’s license and use of a car are necessary. Bilingualism is an asset  

Wage-    B.A. Level: $ 29.39 – 31.91

             Honors Level: $ 30.57 – 33.32

Hours of Work: 75 hours every two weeks
