DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Dispatch vehicles and drivers to meet customer’s transportation needs

·         Log time and number of each cab as they check in

·         Assign taxi fare in order of request to the first cab in line

·         Respond to all radio transmissions, answer all telephone calls

Skills and Requirement:

·         Have excellent communication skills and able to handle stressful situations

·         Utilize professional telephone etiquette and must be able to give effective instructions to drivers

·         Keep information organized and accessible (filing etc.)

·         Maintain clean and functional work space

·         Work systematically and effectively

·         Manage time well

·         Must have knowledge of the town

·         Clean and presentable appearance

·         Must be able to sit for extended periods of time

·         Must be flexible with hours (am, afternoon, evenings and overnight)
