position to join our team.
Health and Safety Advisor
Cadillac Mines Corporation (CMC) is a privately funded Canadian exploration company that is
actively drilling and conducting exploration activities to evaluate gold mineralization present
around the historic workings of the Kerr-Addison Mine, situated in McGarry Township located in
Northern Ontario. Since 2015, Cadillac Mines has drilled over 130,000m on the property and
extensive land position extending 6km along the Larder Lake Cadillac Break. Cadillac Mines
successfully defined significant gold mineralization over the years. In 2025, Cadillac Mines
released a multi-million ounce combined open pit and underground gold mineral resource
estimate. In addition, Cadillac Mines recently released an initial mineral resource estimate on the
newly discovered Geminid nickel deposit, validating the mineralized potential of the Company’s
land position. In addition, with the company's recent expansion across the Quebec boarder,
Cadillac Mines’ Abitibi land position now encompasses an additional 20,000 hectares of tenure
along the Larder Lake Cadillac Break, significantly enhancing the company's growth potential and
offering exceptional exploration upside.

Role Summary:Closing Date: Until filledThe Health & Safety Advisor is responsible for the day-to-day implementation, administration,
and continuous improvement of the Health and Safety Management System (HSMS) across
Cadillac Mines’ (CMC) exploration programs and fixed site operations in Ontario and Quebec. This
position works closely with operational leadership, contractors, and senior management to
ensure all activities are conducted safely, in compliance with applicable legislation, company
standards, and industry best practices.
This is a foundational hire for a growing safety function. The successful candidate will own the
HSMS in practice: maintaining compliance and training records, aggregating and interpreting
safety performance data, holding contractors accountable to their own programs, and providing
direct H&S support to site operations. Field visits for audits and safety observations are equally
part of the role.

Key Responsibilities:
Health and Safety Oversight:
• Own the day-to-day implementation and administration of the company Health and Safety
Management System (HSMS) across Ontario and Quebec operations, ensuring policies,
procedures, and standards are followed consistently.
• Monitor compliance with provincial occupational health and safety legislation and company
policies.
• Conduct periodic site visits, inspections, and safety observations across exploration projects
to verify compliance, identify hazards, and support site teams.
• Support operational teams in identifying, assessing, and mitigating workplace hazards and
operational risks.
• Ensure exploration activities are conducted in accordance with safe work procedures and
industry best practices.
Coordination:
• Coordinate safety initiatives and programs across multiple exploration sites and contractors.
• Participate in planning meetings and operational reviews to ensure health and safety
considerations are integrated into field activities.
• Assist with mobilization and demobilization planning for exploration crews and contractors.
• Maintain regular communication with site leadership to monitor operational safety
performance and address emerging risks.
Training and Culture:
• Deliver safety orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing safety training to employees and
contractors.
• Promote a positive safety culture through visible leadership, coaching, mentoring, and
engagement with field personnel.
• Support the development and implementation of safety campaigns, awareness initiatives,
and continuous improvement programs.
• Assist supervisors and employees in understanding their health and safety responsibilities and
obligations.
Incident Management:
• Lead or support incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action tracking.
• Ensure incidents, near misses, and hazards are reported, documented, and investigated in a
timely manner.
• Prepare and maintain accurate safety records, reports, and statistics.
• Monitor corrective actions to ensure timely completion and effectiveness.
Compliance and Program Management:

• Administer and continuously improve company health and safety programs and procedures
in alignment with the established HSMS framework, including maintaining SiteDocs as the
primary safety management platform for inspections, training records, incident
documentation, and compliance workflows.
• Maintain knowledge of changing legislation and regulatory requirements in Ontario and
Quebec.
• Lead contractor H&S prequalification and onboarding for major contractors, assessing their
safety programs, certifications, and compliance history as part of the procurement process.
• Audit contractor H&S performance on an ongoing basis to verify adherence to their own
safety programs. Escalate non-compliance through appropriate channels without assuming
ownership of contractor safety obligations.
• Leverage safety management technology and digital tools to establish, monitor, and report
on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to health and safety performance.
• Compile, analyze, and interpret operational safety data to identify trends, support decisionmaking, and drive continuous improvement initiatives through dashboards, analytics, and
reporting tools.
• Support emergency response preparedness and site-specific response planning.
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health, or a related
discipline.
• Professional designation such as CRSP, NCSO, CHSC, or equivalent is considered an asset.
• Minimum 5 years of health and safety experience. A background in mineral exploration or
mining is strongly preferred; experience in other industrial environments will be considered.
• Strong working knowledge of Ontario and Quebec occupational health and safety legislation.
• Experience supporting remote field operations and contractor-based environments.
• Valid First Aid certification considered an asset.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel frequently to remote project locations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and build
relationships at all organizational levels.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities across geographically dispersed
operations.
• Practical problem-solving and risk assessment capabilities.
• Strong organizational and reporting skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and digital safety management systems. Experience with
SiteDocs is an asset; candidates without prior SiteDocs experience must be prepared to
develop full proficiency quickly.

• Bilingualism (English/French) would be an asset. Cadillac Mines operates active programs in
Quebec and the role involves regular engagement with French-language contractors,
regulators, and community stakeholders.
Schedule/Working Environment:
• Project sites are located within a short drive of the primary work location.
• This is a locally-based position with primary site office in Virginiatown, ON. The role operates
on a 4/3 or 5/2 schedule with regular site presence across Ontario and Quebec projects.
• Exposure to varying weather, terrain, and remote working conditions.
• Ability to work flexible schedules to support operational requirements.
