Compensation & Benefits Information

·         Rate of pay ranges from: $31.81 per hour to $33.18 per hour as per the SEIU-Clerical Collective Agreement

Job Summary:

The Registration Clerk is accountable to the Manager, Health Information. The Registration Clerk’s position is a high profile front line position at the Hospital. The Registration Clerk is the main contact and often the first contact between the community and the facility thus promoting a positive image. The functions provided are of high importance and high priority as all other departments use information gathered in the facility.

Qualifications:

Education:

Certifications and Registrations

• Minimum Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD)
• Mandatory requirement-bilingual in both English and French

Skill, Ability & Experience:

• Must also possess good written skills in English
• Knowledge of computers and keyboarding

·         Knowledge of medical terminology, switchboard experience and telephone customer service skills or general office skills would be an asset

• Must be available to work all shifts:

Kirkland Lake Site

o   7:00am to 3:00pm

o   7:30am to 3:30pm

o   10:00am to 6:00pm

o   3:00pm to 11:00pm

o   11:00pm to 7:00am
