Alamos Gold Inc. Young-Davidson is currently recruiting the following challenging position to join
our Operations team: Surface Labourer

Alamos Gold’s Young-Davidson is a low-cost, long-life operation and one of Canada’s largest
underground gold mines. It is located near the town of Matachewan centrally located between
Timmins, Kirkland Lake, North Bay and Sudbury, Ontario. The recent completion of a highly
automated lower mine expansion has resulted in Young-Davidson increasing production as well as
strong free cash flow generation. With a large Mineral Reserve base, it will serve as Alamos’
foundation for growth for many years to come. This is a very exciting time at Young-Davidson, and

Reporting to the Surface Supervisor, the Surface Labourer will be responsible for the safe and
efficient support of a variety of surface mining projects.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Basic maintenance and cleaning of conveyor belt systems;
• Removal of snow on walkways and at entrances as required;
• Filling of sand boxes and applying sand to walkways and at entrances as required;
• General mine site housekeeping; and
• Other duties assigned by the Surface Supervisor as required.

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience:
• Able to lift and carry heavy material and complete physical work;
• Surface construction and or maintenance experience would be an asset;
• Accreditation in surface common core modules would be an asset;
• Valid G level drivers license;
• Strong safety focus;
• Comfortable working outside in both a hot and cold climate;
• Self-motivated ability to work alone; and
• Experience operating forklifts and skid steer equipment would be an asset.

Schedule: 5/4/5/5 – 12-hour shift
